Road Trip Offers Fun Way for Native American Students to Learn About College
(NEW MEXICO) -- The Expanding the Circle program at the College of Contemporary Native Arts is pleased to announce its “College Road Trip 2009,” a week-long journey July 19 - 25, 2009 to tour colleges and universities in New Mexico and Colorado: the College of Contemporary Native Arts, New Mexico Highlands University, the University of Denver, Colorado State University, the University of Colorado-Boulder and Fort Lewis College.
Pawnee Nation summer learning program a success
(OKLAHOMA) -- The Pawnee Nation held a free, fun-filled educational summer camp June 8-19 called “Pirates & the Deep Blue Sea.” More than 30 Native American students, grades one through five had a blast while learning how to take care of their mind, body and spirit, in a fun, educational way.

Tule Study Center has field day with fire safety lessons
(CALIFORNIA) -- Fire trucks, a K-9 unit and an ambulance roared into the Tule Reservation Indian Study Center on Thursday morning.
No — no one had been hurt; all 90 kids were safe. It was the Center’s annual fire safety training in expectation of the July 4 holiday weekend.
Tulalip grad returns to speak again
